YOUNG ARTIST CONCERTO COMPETITION

APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2024 COMPETITION ARE NOW CLOSED.

The Lakeview Orchestra 2024 Young Artist Concerto Competition is open to current high school students who play an orchestral instrument. The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of $500 and be invited to perform their selected concerto with Lakeview Orchestra on April 14, 2024.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: DECEMBER 31, 2023 AT MIDNIGHT.

Applications are not considered complete until an Application Form is submitted AND the $25 Application Fee is paid.

First Place: Jan Vargas Nedvetsky, cello (performing Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme)

Second Place: Clark Snavely, violin (performing Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto)

Honorable Mention: Anna Huelke, flute (performing Reinecke's Flute Concerto)

Honorable Mention: Aiden Yu, violin (performing Paganini's Concerto No. 1)
