Health & Safety
The Lakeview Orchestra has joined a growing coalition of performing arts organizations across the Chicago area in adopting protocols to protect your healthy and safety at performances. These policies are in effect as of March 21, 2022, and will be reviewed regularly to follow the latest public health mandates and recommendations.
Vaccination Recommended
The COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective, and are an important tool for ending the global pandemic. Vaccines protect you and the people around you, reducing the spread of COVID-19. All patrons are encouraged to get vaccinated.
Masks Optional
The City of Chicago lifted indoor mask mandates on February 22, 2022. Masking at Lakeview Orchestra concerts is optional and encouraged.
Cleaning Procedures
Washrooms, handrails and flat surface touch points will be cleaned regularly with spritz sanitizers and other cleaning solutions. The Athenaeum Center Main Stage Auditorium will be sanitized before and between performances, and after all events.
Hand Sanitizer
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the lobby, gallery, and washrooms.
Distancing
The protocols outlined in this plan allow the Lakeview Orchestra to operate at full audience capacity at the Athenaeum Theatre. As such, there will not be physical distancing between parties in the auditorium.
Risk Assumption
All patrons understand that there is a risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. Those purchasing tickets and attending Lakeview Orchestra productions voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Exchange Policy
Patrons who are not feeling well, are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms or have had or been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days, should not attend Lakeview Orchestra performances. If you are unable to attend a performance, you are encouraged to contact the Athenaeum Theatre Box Office to discuss flexible exchange and refund options.
