Jeff Schaller is a bass player, music teacher, singer-songwriter, composer and cat-haver from Normal, Illinois. His favorite dead composers are Sibelius, Schostakovich, and Beethoven and his favorite living ones are Christopher Cerrone, Missy Mazzoli, and Joan Tower to name just a few. His favorite piece of all time is Sibelius symphony no. 5. Jeff likes to spend his time traveling the world, performing and composing music, and drinking Malört. He has lived in Chicago for 9 years and being part of the Lakeview Orchestra has been a big and important part of that ever since.
